AaronJB Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 My guess is that this may be a new amenity set for the Holiday Inn on Hotel Plaza Blvd.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
bsh117 Posted January 15, 2013 Author Report Posted January 15, 2013 Unfortunately, it looks like that listing is no longer available on HOTWIRE.Could I get help with the other listing that is still available? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to start a new thread. It's a 4* hotel SeaWorld - I-drive South area hotel for $9290% Thumbs UpAmenities are as follows:Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet AccessAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomHandicapped parkingLooking to stay from 1/18-1/21.Thank you!
thereuare Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 My guess for this one would be the Hilton Orlando Convention Center, but as i'm not certain, should it be some other property, i wouldn't be too concerned about quality given the 4.5/5.0 ratings across the board from previous HOTWIRE guests. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
bsh117 Posted January 15, 2013 Author Report Posted January 15, 2013 I would love it if this was the Hilton Orlando Convention Center. I purchased a Hotwire stay last year for the Hilton Orlando Convention Center and it was listed at 4.5*. Could this one be another hotel since it is rated at 4*?
AaronJB Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but it may be a downgraded Hilton - properties do change star ratings on occasion (star rating changes are reported to the board all the time for both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
bsh117 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Posted January 16, 2013 I just read that the Hilton Orlando is now charging a resort fee. This coupled with their parking fee will mean that we are staying away from this hotel. Thanks for your help!
AaronJB Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Unfortunately, many properties charge a resort fee in the Orlando area - it's difficult trying to avoid one when using either service, given how many do in the area. Please keep us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have any questions.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 While it is only updated as information is received, you can have a look at this Orlando Resort Fees and Parking Fees thread.
