Willow3147 Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 I followed your links and rebidding tips for booking a 4 star Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip for the 16/2/13-18/2/13. I initially entered a bid of $95 for a 4 star hotel in the Las Vegas Strip North Area, it was rejected. I then added rebid location of boulder strip and rebid for $110, it was rejected. I then added the summerlin rebid location believing it had no 4 star hotels (I took a screenshot). I bid $115 it was accepted for the Red Rock Casino Resort Spa. I did not expect this as I believed summerlin contained no 4 star hotels. I DO NOT want to stay in this hotel. What should I do? What will priceline do when i take this up with them? Thanks for all your help.
thereuare Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages.Sorry to hear you received a hotel in a zone that you didn't intend. When you bid on PRICELINE the star rating you select is the minimum that you're willing to accept, not the absolute star rating. While Summerlin does not have any 4* rated properties, it does have Resort class properties, and in your bid above PRICELINE upgraded you to a higher rated Resort class property. Always feel free to ask the board for help and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before bidding.Thank you for sharing your results with the board. If you do contact PRICELINE let us know if you have any success. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
