Priceline Hotel: Salzburg & Munich Hotel help

I lost my bid of $77 on 4* hotel Salzburg. I have tried 3 attempts starting with $65 which was a winning bid. On 4* Munich hotel City Center North started at $63 & lost at $73 even after adding City center south. Any help would be appreciated

For which dates were you bidding? What were the official rates for the hotels you had in mind?

Do you mean a winning bid for somebody else whose dates were different than your own?

Assuming these bids are for different stays, please start a NEW TOPIC for the second city and we will continue this thread for the first city.

$65 was a winning bid on a prior post. Dates for Salzburg are 2 nights Sept 11 & 12. The $65 winning bid was for Renaissance Salzburg. Hotels.com show $135, Travelocity $171 & Orbitz $146

With that said, i checked Hotels.com and didn't find a $135/nite rate for the Renaissance... was that for a different hotel?
