Got it on my first bid. Maybe should have started lower, but I haven't seen any winning bids under that before so I am still happy with the win. I stayed at this property before and love it!

renataufm,

Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your results with the board.

Glad to see you're pleased with the hotel and deal you received.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Enjoy your stay.

I did stay 1/4-1/6 and I got the room on $102 last weekend.

leehyo77,

Thanks for your post.

Can you please add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that others will be aware of your win when searching the topic titles on the board and in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins and Priceline Maps.

In your post please include the star rating, city, zone, hotel name, room rate per nite, and dates of your stay... you can still view all of this information by going to PRICELINE and clicking the MY PROFILE >> MY TRIPS link near the top right of their home page.

Also, rates are date specific, so the OP's win here doesn't necessarily mean that you would have won for less... it's possible that demand (and rates) for your dates were greater than for the OP's dates above.

Thanks!

This $80 does not include the Taxes & Fees which should be another $17.48, right?

Also for this hotel, do they charge extra resort fee? Does the $80 you paid also included the resort fee?

How about Wi-Fi Internet? any extra charge for that as well?

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.

The $80 was the bid price as that is the format for reporting wins to the board... taxes/fees would be additional and you can see the total amount on the 'review your bid' screen before you submit the bid to PRICELINE.

I'm not sure if this hotel charges a resort fee (you can check the hotel website for any resort fees), but if they do, the fee would be paid directly to the hotel at check-out.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

If you'd like help with your own upcoming stay please start a NEW TOPIC.

Thanks.

As mentioned above, $80 was the bid. Priceline gave me my total with taxes and fees before I bid. The total per day was close to $100. There is also a $25/day resort fee (and last time I stayed there there was another another small $3 tax). All very worth it!

Their accepting price fluctuates a lot. I stayed 12/21-12/26 myself and paid $140 that week (started bidding at $80 - took me a couple of days). Still thought I should start lower again for February and it worked.

Don't worry about starting lower. Your post inspired me for a last minute ski trip (if the price was right). I started at $50 and worked my way up in $5 increments. Ended up with the same priceline result of $80 for the same nights! Hopefully my Diamond status will get me an upgrade!
