Priceline Hotel: Looking for a hotel in Manhattan, New York City, NY

Hi everyone, first time poster, long time lurker.

I am looking for a place in Manhattan for March 9-12th. I am relatively new to the name your own price concept at Priceline and am hoping someone may be able to suggest a new strategy.

I am looking for a 4* or greater and I have tried up to $130 in zones 2,6,7,10,11,12 and have come up without luck a few times now.

I am not sure what a typical price is for NYC. I guess I could compromise for 3.5* if it was nice enough. I am a student.

Could someone help me out please?
