maryann1 Posted January 15, 2013 Author Report Posted January 15, 2013 Quick parking tips:Hotel parking costs $22.50/night (self) or $27.50 (valet). There is very limited street parking across the street in front of the hotel. All spots were taken up every time I checked - (I had direct view from my room and I checked several times).I got hotel parking for $9. This is typically not allowed for hotel guests but it worked for me. Here's what I did to pull this off:I used airportparkingreservations.com with coupon GDCA1, and selected this specific hotel for parking. Printed confirmation. At check-in, I drove directly into parking, pulled a receipt from the parking gate, and parked. Walked up, checked in at reservations, declined parking, and went up to my room. Came back down, went to parking concierge (not the reservation desk), and requested validation based on my confirmation from airportparkingreservations.com. Got an easy validation, and had a pleasant night. After check-out, I used the validated receipt at the parking gate and drove away..The only limitation of course is that it's a one-time park- i.e., you cannot get in and out of the garage, which you can if you pay the full rate of $22.50.
