briantroy Posted January 8, 2013 Author Report Posted January 8, 2013 No chance that either are Trump? Thanks
briantroy Posted January 8, 2013 Author Report Posted January 8, 2013 If I book a room on Hotwire in Las Vegas for 4 nights (Sat - Wed) how hard would it be to get 2 queens instead of 1 king? Will the hotel work with me or am I at their mercy? I am going with a buddy and do not want to share a bed!
thereuare Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 The Trump is in HOTWIRE's Las Vegas Strip NORTH zone... both of the hotels above are in the Strip South zone, correct? If so, then no chance that either if the Trump since that hotel is not within the boundaries of the strip south zone. All that is guaranteed by HOTWIRE is a room that will accommodate the number of guests you include in your search. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. As well, most Vegas hotels (especially at the higher end) now charge more for rooms with two beds vs. one bed, so even if they are able/willing to honor your request, there could be an additional charge involved. You could also try searching HOTWIRE for 2adults/2children (or 4adults, but sometimes the former will not increase the price while the latter often may) which should ensure you of separate beds (since a room with one bed would not accommodate 4 guests)... but the second 'bed' could be a rollaway brought into the room, a pullout sofabed, etc. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
