These days i am bidding as well for 16-20 January for a 4 star St Germain-Latin Quarter area targeted.

On "express deals" offers a hotel with 4* with review score 7,0 but when i check the regular list there is no 4*

in that area with 7,0 rating. What i am missing?

This list is NOT a complete list of all hotels that Priceline offers in this area, it is ONLY a compilation of hotels that have already been reported on this forum. Hotels are added/removed by Priceline all the time, and star ratings can change at ANY time....

How high have you bid on PRICELINE? What is the room rate and amenities of the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal?

I am not talking about the list given here ,and yes i have read that notice.

As i mentioned in my first post, when i make a regular search in priceline (not Name your own price)

I put the location :st germain

star : 4

give the dates and see the hotels (open)with their prices

there is no hotel with 4*quality and 7,0 guest rating BUT when i click "Express Deals" there is a 4* Hotel comes up in the same

St Germain with a 7,0 guest rating.

That is the question???

The now three areas on Priceline - retail (or "regular"), express, and bidding (NYOP) - can each contain hotels not on the other ones.

I've personally gotten hotels via bidding that are not on the retail area, and there are hotels on the retail area that never have come up on the bidding area.

Although it still is a pretty new product, the same logic applies to the express area. You won't necessarily find express hotels on either the retail or the bidding areas.

In addition to the information provided above by Romelle i will add that on the 'retail' side PRICELINE uses different zone names and boundaries than the 'bidding' side of PRICELINE, which is another reason why you may not be finding a 'match'.

I did have a look and am not currently seeing any 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel in the St Germain-Latin Quarter zone offered for your dates above... are you still seeing this on your own PRICELINE search?
