SuiteFreak Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 Bid 4* @$50, got rejected. Added 3.5* and upped bid to $55. Got the Red Lion Hotel. It looks ok for the price and location. In hindsight, perhaps I should have either upped bid OR added in 3.5*. I was hoping to get one of the Garden Grove area hotels/suites... It was my first time bidding, and I guess I would call it a successful bid. I could have gotten the room from the hotel for around $80 w/ AAA not including tax. I will be paying about $69 and change including tax. All in all, a win, albeit a small one. :)I used your PRICELINE link. Thanks!
