Priceline Hotel: Wailea-Makena 4*

Hello -

I am looking to bid on a hotel in the Wailea-Makena zone in Maui of 4 stars from 1/28/13 to 2/2/13. I have seen that Makena Beach and Golf Resort is offering a 5 night stay with the fifth night free coming to 264/night directly on their website. I also see that Priceline has a 4* express deal in this zone (8.0 customer rating) for $206/night. What are the chances that this is the same hotel? I would love to get the Makena Resort for $200 or thereabouts... Thanks in advance - this is a great resource!

The Makena Beach And Golf Resort would be my best guess for this one, but as the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals are a fairly new product for PRICELINE, it's hard to say with any degree of certainty.

Since this a multi-nite stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.
