Hi there, looking for some first time help please, so be gentle :)

My wife and I are visiting Chicago for the first time from the UK on 4/24-26.

Looking at the Water Tower / Mag Mile Area / North area on Hotwire.. I have worked out one of them to be the Sofitel (4.5 Tripadvisor, 4.5*, 95% Hotwire), and given the Omni has under 1,000 Tripadvisor, whereas the Sofitel has over I am guessing that is the one, however the price is literally $6ish cheaper overall than reserving normally - works out about $195+tax /night which doesn't seem that good.

I've not really used Hotwire before - do you think that availability will improve at all, or is what is there likely to be as good as it gets, or am I looking a bit early to be playing the Hotwire game and need to leave it until closer to the time (I understand that's a risk of course!)

Welcome to Betterbidding.

If you would like us to try to confirm a listing, please provide the zone, star rating, price and complete set of amenities showing with the listing.

Rates may or may not come down closer to your stay; there is no way to know for sure (although the Spring is traditionally a busier time of year.) This is discussed in further detail in the FAQ.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
