pnk13 Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 I have been trying every other week to get a room for 1-night stay for a couple of months now, bidding no more than $70 for a 4-star at Logan Airport. Today I was successful. :) The bidding was as follows: 1st bid: $55 2nd bid: $60 (free bid zone of South Boston) This bid was accepted. The breakdown is as follows:Your Offer Price: $60.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $60.00Taxes & Service Fees: $15.22 Total Charges: $75.22Thank you everyone -- in particular, Thereuare and LoneStar (your review of the Hilton Waikola, helped us a lot to narrow down our hotel selection).Happy Travels! p.s.the same hotel was available at Hotwire for $72; I was hoping to use the $30 Entertainment rebate, but I was a bit apprehensive since hubby have already used it for another reservation. thus, we were afraid that the 2nd rebate request will not be honored.Of course, as always used the Savingsbarn link to make the reservation.
thereuare Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 Congratulations on finally finding success and it's nice to see your perseverance pay off.Thank you for always using the PRICELINE links at SavingsBarn.com to begin your bidding... we sure do appreciate that very much!! :) Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
