Priceline Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown) Sheraton Centre Toronto

Good morning...

I am going to Toronto next month for the U2 concert on Sept. 17th and have noticed that the hotel rates seem to be a bit more reasonable on Priceline than on Hotwire. I would like something for 2 people on Saturday night the 17th above a 3* in the $60-$80 range, but would go as high as $100. If I can get a lower rate around $60 we would consider going for Friday night as well if the rate applied both nights.

Would like to be right downtown and within close distance to the Air Canada Centre.

Any suggestions for bidding on Priceline? I've noticed a few at the Sheraton around $60 in that time frame... Thanks so much!

Yes, 3* and higher, sorry I left that out.

I am looking for downtown Toronto only, which I'm sure limits me, but that is where we want to be, anywhere in the shaded region is fine, just want something in the downtown proximity.

Thanks.

At the 3* level you have two re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 3* Downtown 9/16-9/18

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $50, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* Downtown and re-bid zone2...

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $60.

If the above is rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* Downtown 9/17-9/18

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $60, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* Downtown and re-bid zone2...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $70.

Any quetions feel free to ask.

Got this price on Priceline...bid $55 first per advice and was told I could re-bid if I bid $15 higher so I did that, not sure if it was smart or not, but I ended up not going Friday night too...$70 is a decent price.

Thanks for your help!

Congratulations on your win.

Glad you were able to find success and get a very good deal on this property.

Priceline offering your to bid again if you raised you bid by $15 is what we refer to as a counter-offer and they can almost always be undercut. You can read more about this here: PRICELINE SUGGESTS PRICE TO PAY
