KC Engineer Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 3* STL Westport/Creve Coeur 12/26-28 -- $45/nt @ CourtyardPlaced first bid for 3.5* in Westport area at $42 and got a counter offer for $56/nt. I declined and rebid adding 3* category for $45/nt and got the Courtyard St. Louis Creve Coeur. I had a cancel-able reservation at another Courtyard in Westport area and waited until two days before to place Priceline bid to wait and see how the weather was going to be.Last year we stayed downtown at the Hyatt for about the same per night rate, but parking was a pain and expensive. This Courtyard was very nice, was close to the highway (270 & Olive), had close free parking, free wifi and was in a very nice area (shopping, dining, entertainment). Very happy with the stay.
