Yes same criteria as the previous post 2 rooms 4 adults 2 children except its coming up as $170 and I'm sorry about not using the link I promise to in the future. Again Thanks for all the help!!!!!

I'd agree with your guess for the HOTWIRE 4* Times Square property as being the Crowne Plaza.

I did'nt go with the 3 1/2* due to the fact that I was'nt confident that it is the Belvedere. Their website shows no availability for the dates requested and number of occupants,(however doing the reservation as two seperate rooms there appears to be availability) also I'm a bit worried about getting the Four Points Midtown which is not close to Times Square and acording to Hotwires map it is two blocks south of that zone, however the criteria does match Flatotel. Do you think this is a possibility or are you confident in it being the Belvedere?

I am very familiar with NYC... what is it that you are looking for from this stay? Do you have any specific plans and/or locations that you need to be close to?

Again Thank you for your help. I'm trying to find a location that is very close to Times square or a location that is basically on top of a subway station as at this time of year it can be very cold and windy. The Belvedere is a long walk to Times Square in cold weather for two young children and two senior citizens from Florida, the nearest subway is 50th on the C or E which is great if you want to go up 8th Avenue or out to the boroughs. If I cant find I hotel closer to the square I would rather stay in a property near Grand Central or Midtown Central that had easy access to the 7 train or the NQR.

I'll speculate that you will spend far less time in Times Square then you think (and you should as the 'real' NYC is outside of Times Square)... but it's your trip and you know your plans better than we do.

I don't have a guess for the 3* Times Square property above, but i don't think it's the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square (on Eighth Ave) if that is the one you're referring to. This HOTWIRE offer has a 3.5/5.0 TA rating whereas the current rating of the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is 4.5/5.0.

HOTWIRE does have what i believe to be the Grand Hyatt which sits directly on top of Grand Central for $150/nite and if looking for cheaper, the Roosevelt (not my favorite hotel) for $120/nite which is a half a block from the 45th St entrance to Grand Central (and a little closer to Times Square if you decided to walk it).

Why not the previously guessed InterContinental which would seem to meet your needs.
