Priceline Hotel: How to win a good price in Fort Lauderdale

I am trying to get a 3-3 1/2 star hotel in Fort Lauderdale Airport FLL zone for 1/11/13-1/14/13. Did multiple free rebids(started at $65) and just got rejected at $100 bid. This seems like a good bid to me. Wondering how much higher I would need to go and if it's worth it to keep trying. Any advice?

Using MAPS and HOTELS.com (you can use 'FLL' as your search location) what is the best deal you're able to find at a 3* or better property? Is the Airport zone the only one that will work for your needs this trip... the Downtown zone is close to the airport zone and may work for your needs, and depending upon your plans for this trip, perhaps the Beach zone might be tempting for this multi-nite stay?
