I am trying to book a hotel in fl for five nights and all my offers keep getting rejected, so I was wondering if its more difficult to get a desired price on a longer hotel stay?

miami/ft lauderdale area for mid january. the most I bid so far was for 105.

I'm trying for a four star hotel

Jan 9-14th. miami- south beach central, ocean drive, collins ave.fort lauderdale-beach

Rates are somewhat high for these dates and at current rates i don't think that $105 will be enough at this point in time.

Using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for these dates?

If you continue to be turned down at $105 what is your gameplan... increase your budget, lower your star rating, cancel the trip, consider other zones, etc?
