There is a marathon, a coffee brewfest, the annual Chicago Naked Bike ride, a makeup show, a jazz festival and a huge street festival. So, the hotels are going QUICK. AaronJB Posted December 20, 2012 Report Share Posted December 20, 2012 If you're driving, I'd suggest consideration of the suburbs - I'm seeing a 4* in the Northern suburbs for $78 (for example), which I'm guessing could be had in the $55-70 range on PRICELINE.Obviously not optimal to take a train downtown, but the suburbs are nice and have a lot of shopping/restaurant options and the price for a 4* would be in the neighborhood of a third of this Loop property.
