Priceline Hotel: 4* Prague (West) Movenpick Hotel

Hi, I would like some input on what amounts I should expect to bid on hotels in these cities. I wouldn't want to go under 3 stars and would also definitely like to keep it under $100/night. My travel dates are the following

Prague - Check in on Sept 3/05, check out Sept 6/05

Brussels - Check in on Sept 13/05, check out Sept 14/05

Amsterdam Check in on Sept 14/05, check out Sept 17/05

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

For Praque there are three sub-zones.... which of them are you willing to bid?

I'd bid on either East or West. South-east is pretty good as a rebid because it only has 2-star hotels.

I think that this will likely take $95-$105, but since you have so much time, this is what i would try:

Select 4* East

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $80, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* West

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $80, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* East and West

Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

If the above is rejected i woudl try the following in 72 hours:

Select 4* East

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $95, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* West

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $95, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* East and West

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $105, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

I ended up getting 4* Movenpick in the West for $90. It went something like 4* East for $90 refused, 4* East + Southeast for $95 refused, 5* East for $101 refused, 3* East for $85 refused, 3* East + Southeast for $90 refused, 4* West for $90 accepted. Pretty expensive for ex-Eastern Bloc if you ask me but a deal nontheless.

This was your lowest bid in the West zone at the 4* level... i think you may have done better if you had followed the strategy we had posted (and which you requested).

I tried betting around $80 for a 4* in West previously (last week). I wasn't doing it methodically though and don't recollect precisely how the bidding went so I didn't post it here.
