LoneStar Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 I received this hotel for $55 earlier this month. It is a VERY nice property in Vienna for that money -- certainly 4 star furnishings, with a swimming pool. It is within walking distance of the Schonbrunn Palace and across the street from a subway stop. It is also convenient for motorists as it is situated on the road to the western autobahn and has free parking on the street next to the hotel. I understand that there is a shopping and restaurant district very near the hotel, but I did not go there on my one-night stay. As long as you don't need to be in the inner ring, I don't see how you can go wrong here at this price.
kn999 Posted August 26, 2005 Author Report Posted August 26, 2005 LonestarThanks for the information. We will be driving from Venice, Italy, so this hotel will work out well for us. As you know, parking in Vienna is very expensive, so the ability to park in the street is also welcome news.
