GuyInCali Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 My dates will be 12/20-12/24 (4 Nights)...and while I'm hoping for Pier 66, all of the 4*'s look nice in FLL Beach Area. I'd be willing to spend up to 120 per night. Any Priceline (or Hotwire) Bidding tactic suggestions? Thanks.Love your board!
GuyInCali Posted December 17, 2012 Author Report Posted December 17, 2012 I got brave and did a bidding series, Started with 80, and added five dollar increments and new zones up until I hit 105...and was still rejected. Pier Sixty-Six is available for 199 on mainstream sites, but they may be so close to booked that they're not accepting bids for that period. It was comforting to have all the info this board offers though. I think that's what made me have the confidence to actually bid. And, yes, I did use your link. ;-)
Romelle Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 I posted info in the Bonus area about the Entertainment Book $20 coupon. Might help a little bit.Romelle
thereuare Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please read your messages.I don't think you're too far off from a win and your previously stated $120 maximum may be enough.Once you're able to bid again (24 hours from your last bid... and please use the board PRICELINE link to begin your bidding and NOT a link in any emails that PRICELINE may send telling you that you're eligible to bid again):When bidding 4* in Ft Lauderdale you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Fort Lauderdale Beach...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $113, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $118, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
