Looking to rent a car from January 28-February 3, 2013 out of MCO.

Have $3 a day for 6 days rental bonus cash

Lowest rate is $210 weekly rate with Thrifty (ironically premium car).

Is $12+3=$15 a day too little for a compact car. Thats a 50% discount off of Thifty.

Does it make sense to bid low for awhile while I have time?

At current rates i'm guessing that $15/day would be too low, but you could of course continue to bid low and slowly increase as your pick-up date gets closer.

HOWEVER, i would book the Thrifty rate as a back-up in order to protect yourself from rates moving higher from here. If you do book a back-up please use the board's link to Thrifty or any of the other links in our Support Page.

Bid $12+3 for compact= Rejected

PRICELINE is showing the amount of your bid price... not including any add-on bonus they are including.

Thifty is now down to $151+tax (About $200 all-in) or Sixt at $111 (About $160 all-in). Been being rejected up to $17 a day. I have to stop now till I get paid again as Christmas is getting more expensive then I thought. Do you want to close this and start a new one or should I come back after the new year when I get paid and post here?

Started bidding again and got it for $15+$3 bonus cash= $18 total per day. I was expecting to get it lower but I did save $58.58 over my Thifty Rental and while I could have gotten a similar price with Sixt, I avoid the shuttle ride and Sixt being a off brand. USED the PRICELINE link.
