Priceline Hotel: Need bidding help for Barcelona 5 Star

I am looking for a 5* hotel in Barcelona, Spain from 4/19/13-4/21/13. My first choice is the Le Meridian Barcelona in the Las Ramblas North zone, but I see that some people have gotten the Renaissance Barcelona bidding in that zone. I really would prefer not to stay at the Renaissance. My other top choice is in the Las Ramblas South zone and is the W Barcelona, but I have also seen that some people have gotten the Eurostars Grand Marina bidding in that zone. I really would prefer not to stay at the Eurostars Grand Marina. Anybody have bidding advice? I am open to hotwire as well.

You can't bid on (or avoid) a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. However, the trade-off is that PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, so you need to decide what is more important to you for this stay... the lowest possible price OR having a guess at trying to target/avoid a specific property.

Won Le Meridian in November for $142 per night last month. Great location and if you are a Starwood Rewards they will put you on the special floor. Luck of the draw with Priceline but I think the W is too far out of town.
