Started at $60 with the Millenium Park area, added River North at $63 (didn't really care which of these I won). Then I did free rebids at $66, 69 & 72 using Franklin Park, Hyde Park and Lincoln Park as none of these areas have 4 stars. Won the bid at $72. For three nights with $44 of taxes & fees the total is $260. I'm very happy!

We are probably babysitting for our kids on New Years night or I might have added the remaining 3 nights of our stay in Chicago. It did give me the option to add extra nights at the same price. Good to know!

Even though it gave you the option to bid, it didn't necessarily mean it gave you the option to stay another night at that rate. I've tried to add extra nights, with no success. I tried bidding $75 for the 31st and was rejected.
