iammeuru Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 Needed an 18 day rental in Seattle 9/13>10/1.Just paid $420 thru Hotwire, got a Hertz Fullsized car.Hotwire listed a fullsize as $16.95/day, plus the usual taxes.I'm a Hertz #1Club Gold member thru work; their website quoted the same rental at $830.Orbitz had the cheapest as Thrifty, for $675.My browsing both this website and also www.TOBB.commakes me believe I wouldn't have saved much using Priceline.Hope I'm not wrong...it's too late!
