Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board, but i will note that it has a 3.0/5.0 TA rating, which is not that great... i wouldn't expect too much from this property. If you do decide to go for this offer, i would see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain' and ensure that it will meet your needs for this trip; if so, purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Is it possible the "free breakfast" is a special HOTWIRE amenity or is free breakfast is a standard hotel amenity for all guests? Do you think it could be Beau Rivage or Mercure Marche Aux Fleurs?

I'm not seeing the rating now. Maybe they pulled it? In any case, the two hotels you mention have ratings higher than the 3.0 thereuare noted - a 3.5 and a 4.0.

You've probably already noted that most of the Hotwire hotels offering breakfast on the retail side note there is a surcharge for it. I think free breakfast might be not such a common amenity in Nice. I checked a while ago, and of all the Best Westerns there, only the Riveria offered free breakfast.

It's possible that free breakfast is a negotiated amenity for HOTWIRE customers/purchases... but it's not a very likely scenario. Rarely is Breakfast listed as an amenity unless it is an amenity offered for free to all hotel guests.

May I "second" thereuare's suggestion above. With no members reporting Nice Hotwire results, there isn't much to go for ID'ing.

A while back, in a similar circumstance (no available info), I just jumped in and took a HOTWIRE hotel in Istanbul. I was pleasantly surprised.
