Priceline Hotel: 3* Tuscaloosa Best Western Park Plaza Motor Inn

We used the PRICELINE link from the forum to acquire this room, which I hadn't seen listed here before. Amenities include high speed internet, free breakfast, pool, workout room, fridge and mircrowaves. Will report back once we get home.

This bid was different from what I have experienced on Priceline before. My initial bid of $35 for a 2.5* room was denied, but I was given a 1 time only option of upping my bid to $44 at which point it was accepted, and I was given a 3* room instead of a 2.5*.

The property was nice. It appears to be an older property but updated and well maintained.

If you travel with pets and looking to stop in the area, this is a good place for you. They advertise inside as being pet friendly, and they even have doggy treats in a bowl at the check-in counter.

If you are sensitive to noise, beware the the back side of the property is right up against the Interstate 20/59, so you will hear that traffic during the night. The WiFi doesn't reach to the back either, so keep that in mind.

The property was clean and the staff friendly and I would stay again.
