Priceline Hotel: 3* Orlando (Disney Maingate - Celebration) Holiday Inn Main Gate East

Hi there,

I will be going on a cruise departing at Port Canaveral before needing the car rental in Orlando. Do you know if the pick up location should be Cape Canaveral (Port Canaveral is not a recognized option)?

Also, what would you suggest as a starting bid for a compact - 12/06/12 to 12/09/12?

I'm not clear of the details for this rental...

Are you picking-up and droppping-off the rental car at Orlando airport OR are you looking to pick-up at MCO Airport and drop-off at/near the port?

Thanks for the response - I want to pick up from the port on Dec 6 after the cruise and then drop off at the airport on Dec 9.

I used this site's PRICELINE link to book and am happy with the price and proximity to WDW!

You can't bid on a rental car for pick-up directly at the port... best you can probably do is take a cab to a nearby rental location (or book direct if there are any rental companies at the port, which i'm not sure of, but do note that this port is HUGE and covers a lot of geographical area... even if there is a rental company on-site it may not be walkable from your disembarkation pier).

Where are you staying for the days between disembarkation and your departure flight?

I was asking in terms of where you would be heading/doing for the days between... so it looks like you're doing Disney?

Have you looked into the cost of a local rental (taking a cab from the port to the rental agency) and then returning the car at the Orlando Airport?
