Priceline Hotel: 4* Orange County (Disneyland - Anaheim South - Orange - Garden Grove) Anaheim Marriott

Hi,

So the Mariott Suites in Anaheim is my ideal win, for 12/6 - 12/7 I think i understand the rebidding idea, but what are the chances of getting this hotel? i see it listed often in the wins, but i am not sure if people post immediately after they win, or a few weeks later when they remember? suggestions please!

If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose.... and there are currently at least SEVEN 3.5* rated hotels in this zone. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.

Ok, thats what i thought. its our honeymoon and we don't need a ton of space, so i guess i'll try upgrading to the 4* marriott, was hoping to be closer to the target, but maybe the ART goes by both?

It is most useful if people post right after they win. I think most of the members realize this and post promptly. That Golden Rule thing.....

In fact, when a thread is progressing there is a nice little box at the end of it saying "POST HOTEL WIN". It makes the posting really easy. There is one at the end of this thread. Just waiting for you.

But sometimes people don't remember to post right away. The information can still useful to others.

After a stay is the least useful time, but a post then still adds to the general knowledge. I've looked up "same month last year" and other historical information. It can help show patterns. And even just that a hotel has participated in Hotwire or Priceline.
