TimixD Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Hey,I need an advice. Yesterday I booked a cheap flight to New York between 02/27/13 and 03/03/13. That will be my first trip to New York, so I checked some booking websites and got caught by PRICELINE. I did a lot of research and the 4* hotels in the Time Square district seems to be the best selection of hotels. I expect to be able to get a hotel in this zone for ~$150.Do you think the price will decrease in the next weeks (I already read the FAQ), or is this a good offer?Thank you :)
thereuare Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding! As nobody (including the hotel) knows exactly how new reservations, or cancellations, will come in relative to expectations, it's impossible to know if rates will drop in the next few months... or move higher from here.February is the slowest time of year in NYC, but Times Square is one of the most expensive zones... a quick look i see the best price for a 4* hotel in the Times Square zone of $199 at the Millennium Broadway, which would make $150 a 'fare' price, imo. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
