adrienneb33
Hi, I was in the process of bidding on a Priceline car rental for Thanksgiving weekend 11/23-27, and I accidentally submitted the request AS my boyfriend was told that we would infact not be needing to rent a car. I know that the site states that there are no refunds available, but I was hoping someone may have some insight as to how to handle things. Thank you in advance for any help! Link to comment

adrienneb33
$45 a day, which is a great price, but alas I don't need it. Link to comment
thereuare
You're (most likely) out of luck. You may try calling Priceline (email would be better since it's notoriously difficult to reach them on the phone) and perhaps they will be sympathetic to your situation, but it is unlikley they will cancel it for you... they have been getting increasingly more strict with their "no refunds" policy. adrienneb33
I already tried email, they responded saying "we've arranged for you to call" and then said in the email response that the person on the phone would simply reiterate the content of the email. When I spoke with someone over there last night, they told me no, and that was that. It amazes me that you can return a pair of underwear, but you're stuck with a rental car. Link to comment
thereuare
Shop at a store that advertises "NO Refunds/NO Exchanges" and you can't return underwear or any other item they sell. adrienneb33
This is true. :) Eh, I guess it could be worse.....I got what we used to pay for a rental when I worked in insurance and had the discount...and now I can run from his family when I want to. Thanks for your imput....if perhaps anyone has a moment of brilliance, please feel free to share. Link to comment
