cmc2124 Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Looking to make a bid for 12/31/12 - 1/1/2013 in National Harbor. I know the only 4* hotels are the Gaylord and the Westin. Any suggestions on bidding amounts that people have had success with? Will be using the PRICELINE link to do my search and bid. Thanks!

cmc2124 Posted December 1, 2012 Author Report Posted December 1, 2012 I'm looking to grab two rooms for no more than $100-$110 dollars for a one night stay. Thanks much for the help!
thereuare Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 If these are the only two 4* hotels in the area, and with each selling at $250+ for this nite, this will likely be a difficult win at $110 or less at current rates. If you want to give it a try:When bidding 4* in this region you have EIGHT re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Oxon Hill-National Harbor...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $103, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $108, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
