Booked the day before my trip and staying only due to a long layover at YYC. After checking out Priceline hot Deals, I found what was likely the 2.5* Country Inn and Suites for $72 and decided to shoot for that. $68 first bid was accepted immediately and I was upgraded to a 3* level. I would have preferred to have been at the Country Inn and Suites I had wanted. Or if they had to upgrade me, the Four Points by Sheraton would have been a preferred option. C'est la vie.
