Saw previous bids for around $75 - $85 and nothing on hotwire or on standard booking sites at anywhere close to this price. Decided to give it a go anyway.

Started at $80. Counter offer $96. Declined the counterbid offer.

Added "Hilo" rebid zone. Bid $85. Accepted.

So, a brief trip report:

PRICELINE mentioned pointedly on checkin

Room not cleaned on the first day.

Facilities were fine, food and drink were expensive for what you got.

$25 plus tax resort fee per night. This supposedly covers:

Internet Access

Parking (Valet Parking is $7 extra per night)

Unlimited local + 1800 calls

30 mins of domestic / intl calls

Use of the trolley to Kona

2 bottles of water / day

Some activities (calendar provided on checkin)

Sorry to hear this stay was a bit mixed, but hopefully the service issues improved after the first day and the $85 room rate was a decent value for the area.
