TallGene
This is a tough one.... I searched for Vancouver (then have been sorting by various areas, as I'm not tied to being downtown) for 11/26-27 (1 night); the first hit was for 3-star $70 ($110 'other sites'), but the only amenity listed is "Restaurant(s)"; cross-checked in the hotel list and everything shows other amenities. It does say recommended in 85% of Hotwire reviews. While we're on that subject, does anyone know where to find the Hotwire reviews? I've completed them after my stay, but I can't find them on the website. Perhaps they don't publish them so people like us can't cross-check :).I'm trying to get something walking distance to the Rogers Arena so I don't have to pay for parking TWICE.Thanks to all for any assistance.(P.S. I always book by using the BB PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links :D ) Link to comment
thereuare
This 3* hotel is in the 'Vancouver Downtown Shopping and Entertainment District', correct? If so, are you still seeing this 3* offered with only a Restaurant amenity listed? I'm seeing two 3* hotels offered in this zone, each with more than just a Restaurant amenity. If you still see only a Restaurant amenity listed, are you searching for 1room/2adults/0children?I'd also suggest entering the address of Rogers Arena (or just the landmark name might work) into our sister site, MAPS and HOTELS.com, as you may find something there of value that ensures you're within walking distance of the arena. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. TallGene
Many thanks! I clicked both links, now I'll try your other idea.BTW, just searched again and there are more choices, but the 3-star with ONLY "restaurant(s)" is still there if you scroll down.-- S Link to comment
thereuare
I suspect that this property has been reported to the board before but is 'hiding' some of its amenities.I do have reason to lean towards this being the Ramada Inn and Suites, and that would be my best guess for this one, but with just a solo Restaurant amenity (a very common hotel amenity) it could be just about anything. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.
