This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but my guess is that it MAY be the Best Western Royal Palace with a new amenity set and star rating.

I won the bid for $102 per night from 2012/12/27-2012/12/31. However, the hotel does not have very good reviews, which makes me a bit worried. :(

I am a first time visitor to LA. Can someone tell me a bit more about the location of the hotel? What are the closeby attractions, restaurants and shopping centers?

Nice deal for this property - not sure where you are reading reviews; tripadvisor has an overall average of 4/5, which is very good.
