*Mel*
Please help! I need either two rooms for 2 adults each, or a large suite with 2 queen beds for 4 adults in Soho, Chelesea or Midtown South October 29-31, 2005.On Hotwire, I came up with:(1) A 4* in Midtown South for $302 per night per room for 2 rooms. Amenities: Boutique Hotel & High-Speed Internet Access(2) A 3* in Soho for $200 per night per room for 2 rooms. Amenities: Fitness Center and Self Service Laundry Facilities.Anyone have any idea as to what hotels these might be?Are these good prices? Should we wait til closer to October to book? Any advice? THANK YOU! Link to comment
thereuare
The 3* is a match for the Club Quarters Downtown (not in Soho)... i'm not sure about the 4* in the MTS zone.Do you need to be in the Southern part of Manahattan? It's not where the majority of hotels are located and not where the typical tourist stays either... but i don't know your intentions/plans for this trip. As i often say, NYC is a very small place and easy to get around inexpensively that location is not as important as in other cities. If you're looking for value i would suggest the Beekman Tower for $210/nite... it's in the Midtown East area but it's a 1BR suite and gets very good reviews (although there have been one or two negative recently, the reviews remain overwhelimingly positive)If you need the MTS area and 34th street is south enough, and you want to spend the money, i would look at the Affinia Dumont where you'll get a Studio Suite for $275/nite and you can see the glowing REVIEWS.Let us know your thoughts on the above.
