thereuare
Looks like the ferry is near by to get into NYCThe hotel (and the adjacent condo complex) have their own ferry stop right next to the hotel (you have to be a hotel guest or condo owner to use it/buy tickets). It's a great way to get into the city... but it's also expensive (~$7-$8/tix) which is about $30RT for two people. The cheaper option is to take the bus which picks-up/drops-off in front of the hotel and is $3.20 each way (iirc).I havent stayed here before, any restaurants near by, how is the general area? The hotel restaurant changes hands frequently, i haven't been there under the newest owner (might be there for about a year or so now). There is a Ruth's Chris across the street as well as a Houlihan's (with decent happy hour food and drink specials during the week, as well as a limited early bird menu). The office building complex also has a food court area where most of the restaurants close n the evening, but there may be a bagel/breakfast place that is open early for a quick/cheap bite. For restaurants (and non-chain bars) you'll need to head to Hoboken which is now an easy walk from this hotel given the walkway which has recently opened... northern end of Hoboken is just a 5 minute walk but the southern end of Hoboken would be a bit more moderate walk about ~25 minutes. If you let me know what type of food (and budget) i can make some suggestions.
