AaronJB Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)I'm seeing a different listing in the 4* spot in this zone when searching for these dates. Are you searching for more than 2 people?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
AaronJB Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 This amenity set is a match for what has been reported with the Hyatt Mag Mile on St Clair. However, the tripadvisor rating showing on the detail page (3/5) does not match the current tripadvisor rating for the Hyatt (3.5/5). The tripadvisor rating noted on HOTWIRE listings is not updated in real time though, so this may be an instance where the rating has changed recently.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Klong74 Posted November 14, 2012 Author Report Posted November 14, 2012 Any ideas?I also assume this means it is an accessible room?$257November 16-182adults 2 childrenthanks!4.5-star Hotel in Magnificent Mile North - Water TowerThis Hotel features the following amenities:Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible path from the room entrance to the window, the bed and the bathroom; accessible hardware and minimal resistance to open the door; accessible temperature controls and window coverings Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower Bathroom has a roll-in shower
AaronJB Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Please keep all posts regarding this stay within this thread. The 4.5* amenity set would be a possible match for the Intercontinental. The accessible amenities do not necessarily mean an accessible room, but that the hotel offers those amenities in general. I like the Intercontinental, which has a neat history and a very nice location, but not for $250+. For slightly less, there's a Deluxe Two Doubles Lakeview room at the Sutton Place on Expedia ($251) and there are better values on HOTWIRE for less (I see what appears to be the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza for $107, what appears to be the Sutton or Raffaello for $180 (although if it was the Sutton it wouldn't likely be an upgraded room like the one on Expedia) and the Indigo for $141. Let us know if any of these would be of interest.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE or Expedia links to start your purchases and searches.
Klong74 Posted November 15, 2012 Author Report Posted November 15, 2012 Thanks for the info. This should be my last inquiry. We have to book tonight. I'll post my results once we decide. There is a Watertower area hotel for $150; still 2 adults, 2 kidsHere are the amenities:4-star Hotel in Magnificent Mile North - Water TowerThis Hotel features the following amenities:Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access
AaronJB Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 The tripadvisor rating (3/5) showing on the detail page for that listing isn't a match, but I'm guessing this MAY be the Hyatt Mag Mile (on St Clair) with a tripadvisor rating that hasn't been updated yet (as the tripadvisor rating is not updated in real time on the detail pages.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
