cntrfieldsmom
Hello,I am trying for a downtown Kansas City room for Nov. 21 and Nov.22. I am familiar with priceline but haven't really used Hotwire. I would love to get the Phillip (stayed there before) or Holiday Inn as they are both historic hotels. It seems bids over $60 in *4 get the Sheraton or Westin which I'm really not interested in because they are further away from actual downtown. The residence inn is thrown in with *3 Holiday Inn however. I don't see that it has come up often though.Hotwire has a 3.5* Downtown for $59 here are the amenities:3.5-star Hotel in Downtown Kansas City and Crown CenterThis Hotel features the following amenities:Boutique Hotel Property offers a distinctive, unique or eclectic atmosphere. cntrfieldsmom
I just need to decide if I should take the risk of not getting the HI on PRICELINE hoping for a better price. With fees HOTWIRE is 74.00 a night. Hotel website is 99 which leads me to believe PRICELINE may be lower? Although it is a Holiday also, so perhaps not. Link to comment
thereuare
PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, but less ability to try to target the hotel you're seeking... so that is the trade-off and you have to decide if it's worth the extra money to try to target a specific hotel, based upon how much would it mess up your plans should you receive something else?If you do decide to book direct please use our Holiday Inn link, also found in our Support Page (along with our PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, and other links)Let us know whatever you decide to do or if we can be of further help.
