zamfam Posted November 13, 2012 Author Report Posted November 13, 2012 Thought I would share this interesting scenario I had.Was looking for 4 room at a 4* Fort Lauderdale Beach Area Hotel for 12/13 - 12/15.Saw other winning bids at or near these dates for 80 to 90, wasn't sure if 4 rooms would help pricing and since I had 6 free rebids started bidding at $66 per night (I know ridculous :) ) upped it around $6 per bid until failed with last bid at $95.00. Still thinking about whether I want to go any higher on priceline or go with a 4* hotwire hotel at $93. Just thought I would share this experience since I use board a lot and haven't seen much about multiple room bids.

zamfam Posted November 14, 2012 Author Report Posted November 14, 2012 Sorry for the newbie mistake, I meant to post it on priceline forum. As an update, I wasn't excited with the savings on the hyatt pier 66 through hotwire. price was $93 per night plus $15 resort fee, totalled to $108 vs $134 total on Expedia. Was hoping for a better savings than $26 per night. Ended up trying priceline again tonight and got the Westin Beach Resort for $95 per night vs $174 on Expedia. Thanks for the help.
