I am going to New York for an interview at NYU. I decided to stay an extra night to sight see. I started to search for hotels and am so overwhelmed by all of it especially the price just to go for an interview. I am looking for a hotel 2.5 -4 star. Around $130. 11/29-12/1. Possible zones Empire State Building midtown east midtown west Chelsea Times Square Central Park south. Pretty flexible with the location. Please let me know if this is possible and a strategy to approach bidding. Thank you

Welcome to BetterBidding!

At current rates i think you may have a tough time finding anything at $130 or less at 2.5* or higher, but to give it a try, did you first want to try for a 3* rated hotel OR is the goal the least expensive 2.5* or higher for this trip?

I will also add that you could probably get a 4* hotel in Jersey City-Weehawken for close to your budget and then commute into Manhattan... would this be an option?

Let us know the information above and we'll advise accordingly.
