Priceline Hotel: Resort San Juan (Rio Grande - Fajardo - El Yunque) El Conquistador Resort A Waldorf Astoria Resort

Hello - i'm looking to stay at the El Conquistador for 4 nights in early Dec. i'm afraid to priceline this resort as i'm worried one of the other two properties in the Rio Grande-Fajardo zone will win the bid. Do you have any suggestions as to how i can win ONLY at this resort? I see another member just won this resort, a couple weeks earlier, for $75 per night. I would be extremely happy with anything around the $100 price point.

There is no way to ensure/increase the odds of a particular property when bidding. Bidding more in order to try to win/avoid a particular property or properties could definitely result in an overbid for the property/ies that were trying to be avoided. HOTWIRE would be a better choice, as you can try to make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing based on the information in the listings. However, hotels on HOTWIRE can show up with the same details and details associated with a hotel can change at any time, so it's not without risk.

If you search for San Juan on HOTWIRE for your dates (and please provide the exact dates) is there a 4* in the (Rio Grande - Humacao) zone? If so, please provide the complete list of amenities showing and the price per night before taxes/fees.

5staying Dec 6 -Dec 10 and yes there's a 4* in that zone for $75.

I'm just not sure its the resort im after. any additional help?
