Priceline Hotel: Bid or book for Vegas Sept. 25-30??

First time user...just found the site. I use Priceline quite a bit and have always had good luck with it. However, I find it a bad bet in some cities, and Las Vegas is one that I never thought it would be of much help for.

I have to be in Vegas September 25-30 for the Packaging show and wanted to find out if you had any idea what my best bet would be.

Ideal locations: Strip/Convention Center

Staying a couple extra days with my wife, but will be alone Sunday and Monday night.

Looking for a deal under $100.00 if possible, but the packaging show is rather large and I think this isn't helping the deals.

Any good deals you know of would also be appreciated. I would really only rather use Priceline as a last resort since I need rooms and don't feel comfortable waiting until late in the game to MAYBE get lucky with Priceline.

Thanks.

I would see if EasyClickTravel can fufill an 'on request' for your dates at $109/nite at the Monte Carlo.

Other than that the Excalibur (not my favorite hotel) can be had for $100/nite.

The other option would be if you are willing to SPLIT YOUR STAY.
