Priceline Hotel: Failed Bid 3.5* Seattle (Redmond-Kirkland) Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Bellevue Redmond

Ended up keeping and using my direct booking rate of $89 at this property since all attempts through Priceline failed. Still a lovely property with very good service across the board (it will all go into my review).

Upon check-in, the front desk informed me that all of the local hotels were full this week (Monday to Thursday) for a Microsoft application developer conference. So, prior advice that bids can succeed or fail depending on local events is still very much true.

After exploring the local area during the trip, I could have won the Courtyard Kirkland with no marked difference in trip quality; it took about 10 minutes to get there using local streets.
