I've gotten lots of help from this forum, so I'll post strategy for my recent LAS win which may be of help.

I prefer LAS downtown and like the Nugget. The Nugget has many rebid possibilities as of this posting. Its BELIEVED(but of course cant be guaranteed) downtown only has one 4* (Nugget) and no resorts. Additionally, there are 4 other LAS areas with no resorts and 3* and lesser properties. Of course you should confirm this via priceline before using this strategy.

Fremont Street is my desired area and I'll label it as A. Bolder Strip, Henderson, NW LAS Vegas, Nellis were all confirmed as no resort and 3* or less using priceline. I'll label them B, C, D, E.

Using a permutation bidding strategy gives 16 possible bids per day as follows.

A - Fremont Street

B - Bolder Strip 1-3

C - Henderson 1-3

D - NW LAS Vegas - 1-3

E - Nellis - 1-3

Permutations of 5 areas allowed per day

A + B + C

I wanted Sat Dec 1 - Mon Dec 3, 2 nights. Hotwire had the Nugget for $58.

The following was my bidding history. I selected 4* for all bids. If you need to clear a grayed out area just close your browser and re-access PRICELINE:

A - $40 failed

A + B - $41 failed

A + C - $42 failed

A + D - $44 failed

A + E - $46 failed

A + B + C - $48 failed

A + B + D - $49 failed

A + B + E - $50 failed, PL suggest $60

A + C + D - $51 failed, PL suggest $61
