Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip South) Vdara

After reading here about the Aria booking through Priceline, I tried 2 times unsuccessfully to book Aria (or any other 5* casino hotel in Vegas)

I tried the Express Bid service and saw a 5* hotel WITH casino and booked it at $137 per night only to find out the hotel is Vdara. Right in the Vdara description on Priceline it says:

...Vdara Hotel & Spa is a luxury hotel without so much as a single slot machine.

I called Priceline and notified them of this and was able to get a refund.

Thinking it might have been just a glitch with the Express Bid service, I tried the Name Your Own Price with 5* (guaranteed casino amenity). I checked with Priceline support via chat before I booked to make sure that 5* in Vegas guarantees a casino within the hotel and they confirmed that all 5* Vegas listings with that icon will have a casino *within* the hotel.

You guessed it: I got Vdara again! I used the Priceline chat support and they tried to tell me that the sister property Aria is "right next door" and has a casino only 5 minutes away, so that counts. I "next door" (it's not really) and 5 minutes away is not "within" the hotel and they were able to refund that booking as well (after I showed them the chat showing that they confirmed a casino would be IN the hotel)

I'm sure Vdara is an awesome property, but I was really hoping to stay in Aria (or Cosmopolitan) for this trip.
