Considering going to Kona in Feb. 2013. Any clues on the following condo? Am also considering bidding via PRICELINE. I haven't seen the hilton Waikoloa coming up recently on the boards. do you think that property is no longer available via PRICELINE?

Some properties may appear commonly for a while, then not for a year. Properties use the discount services to widely varying degrees - there is no way to know if a hotel has stopped using the services.

The HOTWIRE listing may be a match for the Paniolo Greens Resort.

Keep in mind that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. Is this a risk you're willing to accept? If not, as per above you know that HOTWIRE allows you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensures sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)

Didn't end up using Priceline because you pointed out the double occupancy issue.
