soontobemrsevans Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 Hi,I have been reading your board for tips on my priceline bids. I just bid $100 for a 4 star in Waikiki North and South for 9/19 - 9/24 and was rejected. I added 3 star hotels and lowered my bid to $75. I know these bids are a little low but I wanted to consult the members of this board before I rebid. What should I bid next? I would like to stay within the Waikiki area and I don't want to go lower than 3 star since it is my honeymoon. I am also planning to bid for a rental car, so any tips as to that transaction would also be appreciated.I wouldn't mind splitting my dates to get a good deal. If you think this is a good idea, how should I split them? Thanks in advance!
soontobemrsevans Posted August 15, 2005 Author Report Posted August 15, 2005 I got the Hawaii Prince Hotel for $110 per night. I added the Executive Center area and bid $110 and it was accepted. I have read some good reviews of this hotel so I am happy.
