Jane361 Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 Help! Your Munich hotel areas list does not correlate with the areas available for bidding on Priceline.I use your links to research and bid.
Romelle Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 It looks like PRICELINE broke South zone into a bunch of smaller ones. I don't remember where the line was between North and South, so there may be some change there too? It actually is a good thing, as it gives you the ability to pinpoint your location better. And more zones usually means you can use a more creative bidding strategy. I do know train service from the Neue Messe area is very convenient into the city. Also, rooms there are very inexpensive if there aren't big shows, but very expensive if there are. One of the hotels in the "South" area has its new zone noted. I'd guess the other ones haven't been reported again since the change. If you happen to do any mapping and figure out in which new zones any of the remaining five are, maybe you'd post back here so the list could be further updated?Romelle
